A public meeting will be held Monday evening to unveil a draft master plan on future uses and protections for the River Road corridor.Mayor's spokesperson Chris Poynter says it focuses on a seven-mile stretch of River Road between Zorn Avenue and U.S. 42."This is the only state-designated scenic byway in louisville. so it's very important, we thought, to examine the scenic, the historic, the recreational, the cultural values of that area, determine ways we can improve and enhance them and also protect them for future generations," he said. The meeting is from 5:00 to 7:00pm Monday at Westport Middle School. The draft plan can be viewedhere.
