The 19-and-11 Cardinals face the number-one ranked Syracuse, a team they defeated earlier this season.Coach Rick Pitino says they had no idea Syracuse would be so dominant this year, but it’s a great ending to an era.“It should be that way," says Pitino. "I think a great place like Freedom Hall should have great visiting team come in, so I think it’s a fitting ending to an unbelievable place with so many all-Americans, so many legendary games, and although Freedom Hall is going to move on, the legends and what they’ve accomplished with never move on.”Pitino thinks his team can secure a bid into the NCAA Tournament with a win over the Orange. It’s also senior day for four players, including standout guard Edgar Sosa.In other action this weekend, Indiana hosts Northwestern tomorrow and Kentucky hosts Florida Sunday afternoon.
