The developers of the Whiskey Row Lofts at Second and Main Streets in Louisville say they've secured financing to move ahead with the $18 million renovation project.Siblings Valle and Stephen Jones and co-developer Bill Weyland announced about a year-and-a-half ago that they would transform the two 19th century buildings into residential, commercial and office space.Valle Jones says a combination of public and private loans and tax credits will make the project a reality."Whiskey Row Lofts will be a project conceived, designed, engineered, financed, developed, constructed and occupied by Louisvillians" she said.Jones says three restaurants will operating in the buildings in time for the November opening of the new arena across the street, with the rest of the project scheduled for completion next year.
