A Woman’s Nation: Localizing the Shriver Report
The times they are a'changing. According to the recently released Shriver Report, "now for the first time in our nation’s history, women are half of all U.S. workers and mothers are the primary breadwinners or co-breadwinners in nearly two-thirds of American families." But with this change in economic dynamics for the workplace and home comes stress and uncertainty. So, how are the women, men, families and businesses changing with the times? Are local women keeping up economically with the national models? And how are workplaces adjusting to the prevalence of women in greater numbers? Or, maybe it's no big deal.
