U.S. Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana says he won't run for a third term this year.In prepared remarks delivered this afternoon in Indianapolis, the Democrat said he was confident he could win re-election, but cited increased partisan rancor in Washington as a factor in his decision."The people's business is not getting done," he said. The 54 year old Bayh is a former Indiana governor and the son of former U.S. Senator Birch Bayh. The younger Bayh has never lost an election, having won campaigns for secretary of state, governor and senator.
