Sex Offenders & the Registry
By now we've all heard of Megan's Law and the sex offender registry, and most of us have probably checked to see if any offenders live in our neighborhood. But what do we know about whether requiring offenders to register actually makes us safer? Does knowing a predator is around make us more vigilant?
