Coming Out & Coming of Age: LGBT Youth
There are as many coming out stories as there are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered (LGBT) youth. Some families accept it unquestioningly and join support groups such as PFLAG, some kick their children out of the house and stop speaking to them. The majority probably fall somewhere in the middle. This Monday on State of Affairs we'll talk about what it's like to be a young person coming to terms with his or her LGBT identity.
