The bi-state authority tasked with overseeing the construction of two Ohio River Bridges between Louisville and Indiana will hold its first meeting next month. The authority was formed last year and was supposed to meet in December, but the meeting was postponed. It has been rescheduled for February 2nd and will be held in Louisville. The group's first goal will be to figure out how to pay for the multi-billion dollar project. The meeting announcement comes a day after the Courier-Journal reported on the frustrations caused by the group's slow start. Several officials say funding for various other projects is on hold until a payment plan for the bridges is in place.
