Family, friends and fans of Francene Cucinello gathered Monday morning in Louisville to honor the WHAS Radio personality who passed away last week. Among the speakers at the Southeast Christian Church memorial service was longtime friend Kristin Emery, who met Cucinello when they were students at West Virginia University. She recalled her friend's enthusiasm and vitality."John F. Kennedy once said life is unfair. And this is truly unfair. She was so young, but she packed one hundred years of living into her 43 years," Emery said.Cucinello, who was host of the "Francene Show" on WHAS, died Friday after suffering a heart attack and brain aneurysm Memorial donations to support aneurysm research are being accepted at any BB & T Bank branch.
