Updates in the Community for People with Disabilities
Most of us walk on a sidewalk at least once a day. Many of us hurry our kids out the door in the mornings, dropping them off at the bus stop or school door with the hope they are in a safe zone and getting a good education. But what if you had to negotiate that sidewalk everyday in a wheelchair? Or what if your child needed a special accommodation at school for a disability? Wouldn't you expect different things from your community, your government and your schools?
