An announcement regarding the University of Louisville's vacant football coach's position is expected Wednesday, a person close to the situation has told the Associated Press.The Personnel Committee of the U of L Athletic Association Board of Directors has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday afternoon to consider the hiring of Florida Athletic Director Charlie Strong.U of L Athletic Director Tom Jurich has been in contact with Strong about the vacancy.Previous coach Steve Kragthorpe was fired on November 28.
