The Transit Authority of River City – or TARC – will hold the first of six public meetings tomorrow on two-million dollars in proposed changes to routes.TARC director Barry Barker announced last month the organization will have a budget shortfall because of lagging occupational tax revenues. He’s proposed the elimination of ten routes and cuts to 22 more, which would start in February.Spokesperson Nina Walfoort says comments don’t have to be made in person.“We weigh comments that come in by phone, by email and in person, they’re all weighted just the same," says Walfoort. "People complain sometimes about how difficult it was to get to the hearing, well it’s just the same if they want to call in or email.”The TARC Board of Directors is expected to take action on the proposals on Monday.Tuesday, Dec. 811 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.TARC Union Station1000 West BroadwayWednesday, Dec. 911 a.m. to 1 p.m.New Albany - Floyd County Public Library180 West Spring StNew Albany, Ind5 p.m. to 7 p.m.Fern Creek High School9115 Fern Creek RoadThursday, Dec. 1011 a.m. to 1 p.m.St. Matthews City Hall3940 Grandview Ave.5 p.m. to 7 p.m.Iroquois High Magnet Career Academy4615 Taylor Blvd
