A computer glitch this morning in the FAA flight systems caused some flight delays throughout the country – but the Louisville airport wasn’t affected.Spokesperson Trish Burke says the major delays were concentrated in Atlanta, but could have affected Louisville if it hadn’t been fixed.“It is an air traffic system, and something that affects a piece of it, if it goes on long enough, weather or a situation like this, certainly could have a ripple effect later in the day," says Burke. There were reports that flight controllers in Atlanta were being forced to manually write-out flight plans. But the problem was reported fixed just after ten this morning.
