Brooklawn Dedicates New Children's Campus

A dedication ceremony this morning at Brooklawn Child and Family Services christened four new buildings there.President and CEO David Graves says two of the new buildings are residential cottages for elementary-aged boys, but at first they’ll be used to house older boys.“Temporarily the buildings will be used to house some of our older boys while we go in and remodel the original dormitory building on our campus," says Graves, "and we plan to have that finished in March of this Spring, and then at that point, the new buildings will become residences for our younger boys.”A horticultural center and a volunteer center were also dedicated this morning. The full project costs eight-million dollars, and now moves to renovating dormitories.
