Louisville first new full-service hospital to be built in more than 25 years is preparing to accept its first patients.Norton Brownsboro Hospital is located in northeastern Jefferson County at the Old Brownsboro Crossing development.
Norton Healthcare President and CEO Steven Williams says it will have 127 beds and some 600 employees."It's not just a new beautiful community hospital, it's a new kind of hospital, one that blends a wonderful, comforting environment with 21st century technology," Williams said.
Williams spoke at a dedication ceremony for the facility, which will open August 26. A public open house will be held Sunday afternoon.
