Mayor Jerry Abramson has extended the availability of three free flood debris drop-off sites because they are seeing so much activity. The sites were opened to help residents clean-up after last week’s flood.Abramson says they’ve seen a lot citizens use the sites.“The dropoff centers have worked out exceptionally well," says Abramson. "When you’re averaging 500-600 truckloads a day… our highest, I think, was Saturday where we had about 1,400… obviously a lot of folks are still helping each other in getting the materials out.”The drop-off sites were set to close this Sunday, but will be extended another full week.
