New Albany-Floyd County school district employees will get a chance to meet their new superintendent at a staff meeting Monday morning.Dr. Bruce Hibbard took the superintendent's job last week. He'll spend the next few days getting to know the district's employees before school starts on Thursday.District spokesperson Dave Rarick says Hibbard's main project will be the continued implementation of the schools' curriculum mapping program."It's a plan to basically look at what students are learning and how they're learning and communicate that with basically all teachers and get everybody on the same page," he says.Hibbard comes to Floyd County from Indianapolis, where he was a school administrator.
