The Music of Woodstock

The Music of Woodstock

Forty years ago this week, flower children, political dissidents, dropouts, veterans, bikers, hippies, and most of all, music lovers, were making their way to a remote, nondescript farm in Bethel, New York. What they participated in there would become a landmark in rock & roll history, a touchstone for those who were there, and an enduring symbol of the sixties. On Tuesday, we'll look at the Woodstock Festival - who played and what they played, what it meant to music lovers and musicians, and Woodstock's legacy.
