Louisville Metro Council President David Tandy says he's still considering a bid for Metro Mayor.Tandy is thought to be a prime candidate to replace Mayor Jerry Abramson, who has joined Governor Steve Beshear's 2011 ticket and will not seek re-election next year.Tandy says his ultimate decision depends on how his family feels about his candidacy and on what he hears from friends, political allies and possible supporters."I'm in the process of talking with a number of different people, and at the appropriate time I'll let the people of the community know what my intent is and what type of structure we'll have and how we'll proceed from there," he says.Councilman Jim King and 8664 co-founder Tyler Allen have also expressed interest in mayoral bids. Businessman and former Democratic Senate candidate Greg Fischer has declared his candidacy.
