Lake Cumberland, a Kentucky paradise, has become one of the most popular vacation spots west of the Mississippi River. In their new book, “Around Lake Cumberland” mother-daughter team Kris Applegate and Jarenda Miller unearth the history of the Cumberland River, the Wolf Creek Dam and the surrounding communities.
