A celebration tonight at the University of Louisville's Rauch Planetarium will mark the achievement and impact of the first moon landing. In between other moon-themed festivities, special guests will tell the party crowd stories about the Apollo 11 landing that occurred forty years ago.Planetarium Director Rachel Connolly says the mission goes beyond scientific achievement, and is also a cultural milestone."There are some people who weren't alive at the time or were too young to remember it who were still impacted, and we don't often hear in the community just how much space exploration or furthering our footprint out in the universe has meant to people," she says. The planetarium celebration beings at 6:30.
