Into the Future
The phrase "the future" or the term "futurist" can conjure up images of flying cars, telepathic communications, space suits for everyone. But in reality, futurists are people who study the future to predict trends in business, population, politics, science – you name it. This information is then used by companies, colleges, think tanks, and an assortment of other entities to try and develop the best path for moving forward into the real future. So, how does one come to study the future?
