The University of Louisville has created an academic office to serve the needs of incoming students who are also military veterans.U of L Provost Shirley Willinganz says the Office of Military and Veterans Student Services will be in operation this fall."It says very clearly to the community that veterans are welcome here, that we are supportive of all that they have done and are grateful for their service and that anything we can do as a university to make their transition back easier, we want to do," Willinganz said. The new office will help veterans with the enrollment process and making the adjustment to student life.Officials say they expect there will be about 750 veterans enrolled at U of L this fall.
