Happy Birthday, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
For admirers of Victorian literature, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is considered not only the creator of Sherlock Holmes, the most popular literary detective of the 19th and 20th centuries, but also the father of the science fiction novel who revolutionized the literary mystery.
