Fitting In: Immigrant Children in Louisville
Being a kid can be tough under any circumstances. Peer pressure, parental pressure, academic pressure, let's face it, childhood isn't all roses. Add in the complicating factor of being an immigrant living in a new country and you have a whole new set of challenges. Immigrant children can find themselves living in two worlds, the one of school and native born peers and the one of their parents and the "old ways". Join us on Monday when we talk about these challenges and what is being done to help kids new to the U.S.
