Kentucky Schools: Achieving the Top 20 by 2020
For over 25 years, the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence has believed in the education system in Kentucky. This has been no easy feat considering Kentucky was ranked near the bottom when they started. Now, our schools are in the middle of the pack nationally and KERA made us a model for reform. But the Prichard Committee doesn't want Kentucky schools to rest comfortably in the middle, so they've come up with a plan. Achieiving the Top 20 by 2020 sets out goals and objectives to boost Kentucky schools to the top twenty in the nation by the year 2020. Can we do it? Join us on Friday with your thoughts and questions when we learn more about the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and their vision for Kentucky education.
