Three public meetings this week will detail proposed changes to TARC routes in Louisville and southern Indiana. The meetings start tomorrow at the Main Library Branch. TARC Director Barry Barker says one of the major changes is the addition of a new route, the Southern Indiana Express.“That’s going to be an I-65 express service, coming from southern Indiana and connecting to downtown Louisville," says Barker. "And that’ll run six times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and it will serve both the medical center and the central business district.”Barker says all the other changes are minor adjustments, such as increasing service along Broadway, and shifting times for bus stops. He says the changes are primarily aimed at increasing efficiency. Public meetings regarding the proposed TARC changes:
- Tuesday, April 14, 11am - Main Library, 301 York St.
- Wednesday, April 15, 11am - Bon Air branch library, 2816 Del Rio Place
