HomeGrown 04/12/09 - Pawpaws and Blackberries & Fruit in the Landscape

HomeGrown offers its version of “Darn Near 100 Ways to Use Fruit” this week with up close and personal looks at Kentucky-based research on pawpaw and blackberry, and the use of fruit trees and shrubs for ornamental effect in the garden.  Sheri Crabtree of Kentucky State University catches us up on the pawpaw and blackberry cultivars that would work best in the yard.  Author Lee Reich talks about his new book, “Landscaping With Fruit,” including apples, cherries, pawpaws, passion vines and even hackberries.
