A computer glitch at the Louisville Gas and Electric Company caused the wrong bills to be sent to about one thousand customers. The bills were mailed to the wrong addresses this month. The mixup was caused by a glitch in the company's new billing system.LG&E spokesperson Chris Whelan says the error has been corrected and no personal information was compromised."There were no privacy issues," she says. "There's account numbers on them, but you can't access them without additional information besides what's on the bill."Customers who received the wrong bills will be sent corrected statements with extended due dates.
