The Kentucky Racing Commission has approved a request by Churchill Downs to include three night racing dates in it its upcoming spring meet.The track will have 6:00pm first posts on two Fridays, June 19 and 26 and on Thursday, July 2.Churchill officials say they want to experiment with the concept to determine if it will draw some new racing fans.Other tracks, including Kentucky's Turfway Park, have had success with night racing.Churchill Downs will install artificial lighting for the night dates.
