2009 KY Legislative Wrap-Up

The Kentucky Legislature just wrapped up its most recent session with legislators showing bipartisanship in the tough economic times for the Commonwealth. We now have new taxes on liquor and cigarettes, the kids don't have to make up all of those snow days and CATS testing is going to get an over haul. Kentuckians are not going to be able to see a NASCAR race anytime soon at the Kentucky Speedway, nuclear power is off the table for now and the public defenders are still running out of money.
