The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have advanced to the second round of the men's NCAAbasketball tournament. The 12th seeded Hilltoppers beat Number 5 seed Illinois last night, 76-72.WKU will face Gonzaga Saturday at 5:10pm in the tournament's South Regional in Portland, Oregon.Top seeded Louisville opens tournament play this evening at 7:10 in Dayton against Morehead State. The Eagles beat Alabama State in Tuesday's play-in game.The U of L women's team begins play in the NCAA tournament Sunday at 9:30pm in Baton Rouge against Liberty.In the men's National Invitation Tournament, Kentucky takes on Creighton Monday night in Omaha. Tipoff for the second round game is 7:00pm.
