Coca-Cola Opens Louisville I-T Center

The Coca-Cola company has officially opened its Louisville Information Technology Development Center. The facility, located in the Corporate Campus off Hurstbourne Parkway, is an exension of IT services provided at the soft drink company's Atlanta headquarters.Company official Michelle Bellamy says the facility should have 15 full time employees by the end of the month and eventually more than 30 workers. She says Louisville was a logical choice for the center."The benefit is you get the same local time zone and local language, which is positive for us, and helps us to attract local talent that wouldn't necessarily be available to us in Atlanta,: Bellamy said. She says the company is expanding its internal IT operation to ease reliance on external contractors.
