House and Senate conferees in Washington will now try to iron out differences in their respective versions of the massive economic recovery measure. The Senate approved its bill Tuesday in a vote that fell largely along party lines. Both of Kentucky's GOP senators voted against the measure. Junior Senator Jim Bunning says the bill contains too little stimulus and too much wasteful spending."The deficit for fiscal year 2009 is already a trillion dollars and this bill will add another trillion on top of that debt. When does it stop?" Bunning said.Bunning says he wants the plan to contain deeper tax cuts for individuals and businesses.
