Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear says state government's financial crisis won't have any impact on efforts to help citizens recover from the ice storm.
Beshear says the state will deliver emergency services at full strength.
"We're going to pull out all the stops, money is not going to be an object and a problem when it comes to protecting our folks. We're going to everything possible to make sure that everyone gets though this okay," Beshear said Wednesday on WFPL's State of Affairs program.
The governor said he'll likely ask the federal government for disaster funds to help pay for storm cleanup.
