Big East play begins tomorrow for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team. The 9-3 Cards face a 5-8 University of South Florida team in Tampa.Coach Rick Pitino says it’s been harder to prepare the team for conference play than it has been in past years."If we were playing Memphis, we knew there were certain things we had to do, UAB, there were certain things we had to do, you got some continuity," says Pitino. "There’s absolutely no continuity to this league at all, it’s just a death march."Pitino says the Big East is particularly strong this year, which makes preparation for the next series of games challenging."I won’t call it stress, I’ll call it great pressure," says Pitino. "The players are under pressure to every little thing correct. And I think the last two games have prepared us well for Big East play."The 23rd-ranked Cards defeated Kentucky on Sunday.
