U-S Senator Mitch McConnell has been re-elected to a two-year term as the chamber's Minority Leader. That will make McConnell the highest ranking Republican in Washington when the 111th Congress convenes next year and Democrat Barack Obama becomes the 44th president.McConnell says Capitol Hill Republicans are disappointed in the results of the November election that gave Democrats the White House and beefed up their majority in Congress, just as they were following the 1992 election."We know how to find our way back, in that particular situation we found our way back in a mere two years, i'm not predicting that, but we are going to start the process of discovering how the comeback should occur," McConnell said.McConnell says he and his fellow GOP lawmakers hope incoming President Barack Obama will "govern in the center."
