The Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court will visit Louisville later this month.Chief Justice John Roberts will speak October 27th at the University of Louisville as part of the McConnell Center’s fall lecture series. Center Director Gary Gregg says Roberts will deliver brief opening remarks."He wants to have a conversation though," says Gregg, "and so what we’ve done is put together his suggestion: a panel from the University of Louisville that will be asking him questions, and he’ll be interacting with the questioners."Gregg says the panel will consist of history, law and political science professors. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets must be reserved through the McConnell Center. The venue seats about 550 people.
