More than 250 utility workers from Louisville-based E.ON U.S. have arrived in Louisiana, where they're helping restore power to homes and businesses left in the dark by Hurricane Gustav.Company spokesman Brian Phillips says the team of line technicians, safety specialists and tree trimmers will stay in the area as long as they're needed.He says their absence won't leave the company short-handed in Kentucky."We would never compromise service to our customers. That's why we sent workers from all across Kentucky and not just one individual part. In the event we were to get inclement weather, we would have enough resources at home to serve our customers," Phillips said.Meanwhile, about 1,500 Gustav evacuees from the New Orleans area remain in Louisville, awaiting word on when they can return home.
