Movies that Changed Our Lives
Did watching Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch inspire you to study law, or devote your life to social justice issues? Did you decide to be more spontaneous after seeing Dead Poets' Society and the "carpe diem" philosophy it espoused? Part of this year's Idea Festival is a film series called "Movies that Changed Your Life." The movies - selected from over 170 submissions from the public - will be screened over the next few months at Waterfront Park. This Tuesday, we'll look at the films that were proposed, the films that made the cut, and the films our panel of movie gurus found most life-altering. Tune in to learn more, and call to tell us what movie changed your life, and how.
