Indiana’s Governor travels to Japan today as part of a week-long economic development trip. Governor Mitch Daniels will visit between 12 and 15 companies such as Sony, Mitsubishi and Honda. Spokesperson Jane Jankowski says he’ll also make what she terms courtesy calls."He wants to pay his respects to Japanese companies that have business in Indiana and to thank them for their business and it’s also an opportunity to think of Indiana the next time they’re considering an expansion or relocation," she said.More than 220 companies have business investments in Indiana. Daniels will return home Saturday.
