El Metzo is here, have no fear! So began many an episode of the WHAS radio call-in show, hosted by Milton Metz. The show ran from 1959 - 1993, and is only a small part of Metz's illustrious media career. Louisvillians have heard him interview VIPs at the Derby and watched his show, Omelet, on WHAS-TV, and some may even remember seeing him forecast the weather.
