A day after John McCain and other notable Republicans visited Louisville for the NRA convention, one GOP candidate, who’s still on the ballot, had crowds waiting downtown to see him.Republican Ron Paul held a three hour rally at the Palace Theater. Before the event started, crowds held signs and cheered for the Texas Congressman outside of the theater.Frank Harris showed up to support his favorite candidate, even though it's unlikely Paul win the nomination.“We don’t believe he’s got a chance at getting elected unless something happens to John McCain. We’re trying to promote his positions, said Harris. "We’re trying to make him better known so that people will adopt some of his positions."Paul appeared at the Shelbyville Road Borders book store earlier in the day to sign copies of his book.
