Hillary Clinton Confirms Attendance at KDP Event

The Kentucky Democratic Party will hold a fundraiser in Louisville next week and Senator Hillary Clinton has confirmed she will attend.State Party Chair Jennifer Moore says next Friday is the perfect time to lure the presidential candidates to Kentucky."We are thrilled to have what I call the event of the year for the Kentucky Democratic Party. Senator Hillary Clinton will be here as a special guest and we are hoping, our fingers are crossed that Senator Obama will be there as well," said Moore.Barack Obama hasn’t yet responded to the invitation. Moore says the event will be a great chance for Kentucky Democrats who have not yet decided on a candidate to hear them both speak in person.It’s also a fundraiser for the state party – tickets start at fifty-dollars.
