University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino says he doubts forward Derrick Caracter will be back on the team next season.Caracter announced after U of L was eliminated from the NCAA tournament that he would enter the National Basketball Association draft. He has since approached Pitino about staying in school, but the coach says that's "not in the cards.""Our best interests and his best interests right now (are for him) to pursue trying to become a second-round draft pick. Too much has happened for him to turn around now and go about it. He really needs to find out where he's at in his basketball life," Pitino said.Caracter has had an up and down two-year career at U of L, including initial struggles with Pitino's conditioning requirements and suspensions for rules violations. He averaged 8.3 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Cards.
