Flood Forces West Baden Resort To Close

The West Baden hotel and casino in Southern Indiana is closed due to flooding.On Tuesday night rain and high waters flooded tributaries near the resort, but the facility sustained no damage.“The hotel itself is fine but it is surrounded by water," says Mark Bommarito, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for West Baden.  "It’s like an island at this point so it’s not accessible.”Bommarito expects the resort to reopen this weekend. He says crews may need to clean up the hotel’s garden, which was completely submerged.
