Clinton to Visit Indiana

Hillary Clinton will visit Indiana on Thursday. It comes just a few days after Clinton’s Democratic rival for the presidential nomination, Barack Obama, held a town meeting in the Indianapolis area. The two are vying for the state’s 72 delegates.Typically, Indiana and other states with contests late in the primary season don’t get much attention from presidential candidates. But the close battle between Clinton and Obama has made states like Indiana and Kentucky a viable part of the nomination process.“They want to get as many votes of Indiana as they can and we want to make sure it comes back as a Democrat state," says Indiana Democratic Party Deputy Chair Dora May Abel.Indiana’s primary is on May 6th, two weeks before Kentucky’s.
