The Indiana General Assembly has passed a property tax relief plan.The measure, approved on the final day of the legislative session, includes tax cuts for homeowners this year and caps on future property tax bills for home and business owners.The bill cleared the Democratic-controlled House by a 82-17 vote and the Republican-led Senate by a vote of 41-6.Lawmakers also passed a separate bill that would amend the state Constitution to include the property tax caps.
