The University of Louisville men's basketball team will begin play Thursday in the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden. The Cards will play the winner of Wednesday's Pittsburgh/Cincinnati game. Louisville lost its regular season contest against Cincinnati, a one-point New Year's Day defeat at Freedom Hall. The Cards beat Pittsburgh 75-73 last month on the road.Coach Rick Pitino says his players will have their work cut out for them with either opponent."I think, no matter who you play it wll be a tough game, there's no easy draw. The winner of Pittsburgh/Cincinnati is not an easy draw. We didn't play particularly well defensively against Pittsburgh and that's due to their potent offense," Pitino said.Meanwhile, the Kentucky Wildcats open play Friday in the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Atlanta, where they will face either Georgia or Mississippi.Indiana will take on either Minnesota or Northwestern when the Hoosiers begin play Friday in the Big Ten Tournament at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
