City Says It's Ready For Snow

Louisville Metro Government officials say crews are prepared for the heavy snowfall that’s hitting the region.Chris Poynter at the mayor’s office says roads were treated before the arrival of the winter weather, and salt trucks and snow plows will be in operation until the storm is over.“The hardest snow is going to come tonight hopefully after rush hour when people will be home for the weekend. We’re urging people be very careful. If you don’t have to leave the house don’t leave just enjoy the view," says Poynter.Forecasters says up to a foot of snow could fall in Louisville, with higher amounts possible to the north.
